Solt was founded in 2019 by me (Anna) as a passion project geared toward providing people with affordable and accountable self-care options. What started as a humble bath soak and body scrub shop has become a full-operating business centered around my love of homeopathic and natural options to give your body love, and probably much-needed relief from the every day stress and anxieties it faces.
While I never claim to have healing powers (maybe one day, right?) I stand by the hours and days and months that I pour into researching the best possible solutions for very common, albeit most of the time debilitating issues.
From the first day Solt started I knew I wanted it to be a business that gave back to the community, and to programs that empower their community members. From our first sale it has been a priority, and we have donated a physical product or 10% of proceeds to individuals or organizations that have helped release and employee former inmates, mutual aid funds, re-homing organizations, local food banks and shelters as well as BIPOC owned companies.
That is Solt, and it will never change.
Every product is made with high quality and all natural ingredients. And not like "natural" vanilla flavor made from wood pulp, but locally, intentionally foraged or grown materials. Ingredients are bought organic from sustainable and accountable companies and a LOT of attention is paid to what goes into products.
I am continuously grateful and humbled with every month that goes by and with how many people's lives and homes we are welcomed into. Life is such an extraordinary thing, and sharing it with people is nothing short of a miracle.
